According to the News-Leader, production begins today on a video promoting Springfield as a destination for conventions, meetings and other group events.
Doug Pitt, President of the Chamber of Commerce, will talk about Springfield while driving a dark blue Jeep and narrator Jim Wunderle will ride along during the video showcasing the city’s meeting facilities, amenities and attractions.
The video is a cooperative marketing project among the Convention Visitors Bureau, University Plaza Hotel Convention Center, Oasis Hotel Convention Center and Clarion Hotel Convention Center. No word on the production company involved. Leave a comment if you are familiar with the project!

The project will be on many local websites and DVD copies of it- along with portable DVD players- will be sent to appropriate CVB contacts.
It’s produced by Schilling/Sellmeyer and Associates in Springfield with production and post done by Scott Bradley owner of Pulse Studios. StudiPerroMalo handled audio production.
