Ok, looks like we’re shooting the teaser in TWO weeks on April 5th and 6th. Then we’ll start filming on the weekends from that point on. The idea is that we’ll get to feature all the interested parties in the trailer and determine who wishes to commit to the project from there. Everyone will get to meet and chit chat and it should be a very fun time. We’ll notify all interested parties of the location prior to the event. We’re all very excited about this project as you might expect!
We still have a need for locations and have come up with a novel idea.. We are willing to produce an internet video, that is to say, a commercial, for any business that will let us shoot on their location for the movie. We’ll shoot it and post it on YouTube so that the business can embed it on their website. Please remember that for locations we’ll need a signature from the owner/s of a location rather than the leaser (is leaser a word?) which would ideally be signed on the day of the shoot. Locations interiors can look like those mentioned below without actually being those mentioned. Have access to an office that sort of resembles a police station? Awesome! The needed locations are: A facility to act as a nuclear power plant (interior), rural areas to shoot outdoors (static shots of rural decay), old houses (interior or exterior), modular homes/house trailers (interiors please which will be where E-man commits home invasions.. we’ll have a cast of two and crew of one person for likely less than one hour), a roadside diner (interior), a vacant stretch of paved road, a van or old school bus and tour bus (exteriors on all, nobody will necessarily be inside your vehicle), a vacant small town setting, medical lab with medical props, military control center (interior), police station (interior).
And please please please remember to send photos if you have any of these locations available, thanks!! We certainly love the movies of Robert Rodriguez but would prefer not to shoot this thing in front of a green screen!
